Rohdea japonica – “Lily-of-China”
2-3′ x 2-3′ Shade Evergreen
This durable member of the Lily family is grown primarily for its arching clumps of leathery, long-lasting foliage. It thrives in densely-shaded situations. Inconspicuous spikes of small yellow flowers nestled among it leaves produce clusters of cherry-sized red berries which ripen in the fall and may persist through the winter.
