Description:
Large, usually double flowers which open white then quickly age to rosy-pink are provided in the fall by large, bushy, woody-stemmed shrubs. Here in Lexington, Georgia, they die back to the ground in the winter. A very good choice for placement in the old-fashioned cottage garden. Also known as “Confederate Rose” or “Cotton Rose Mallow.”
