Bushy, semi-prostrate plants provide white-centered, iridescent-blue flowers in very early-spring. Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil kept evenly moist. Good for edging, at the front of the border, or used as a groundcover. (Synonym: V. umbrosa).
