Paphiopedilum insigne – “Lady Slipper Orchid”

Winter-flowering, classical Orchid notable for its long-lasting, four-inch diameter blooms. The upper sepal is white with a chartreuse blaze at its base and dark-maroon spots. The two spathe-shaped side petals and the pouch are a reddish-coppery color. Should be grown indoors under bright, filtered light and in a humid environment with good air circulation.
